About a 20-minute drive from Caporciano takes you to the crystal-clear headwaters of the Tirino River, where you can paddle (or be led in a canoe handled by others) along this stretch of river park with the Il Bosso Coop.
Not far away is the Capodacqua Reservoir, where a small hamlet was submerged in the 1950s, now visible thanks to Calypso Capodacqua‘s glass-bottomed electric boats. In the interval between and after the two activities, you can enjoy the riverside and lakeside in relaxation. For lunch you can, right next to the river, choose the pool restaurant (and perhaps continue the afternoon that way) or go to Capestrano, taking the opportunity to visit this beautiful village with its castle and other important buildings.
