In 5 minutes, continuing past the bar\/restaurant, exit the village and take the small road to the right at the first bend in the road to Bominaco (1).<\/p>

After about 300 meters, at some agricultural shelters, as you enter the forest you can see the first tholos, an ancient stone shelter of farmers and shepherds (T).<\/p>

The easy, shady trail initially proceeds on a false level, then veers slightly to the left, entering a beautiful pine forest where we encounter a steeper section.<\/p>

After about 300 meters of ascent, we meet another convenient path, which we take upstream, in the direction of Bominaco (on the opposite side we descend to Tussio-see the description of this variant at the bottom).<\/p>

We climb until we descend into a pleasant little valley, from where the outline of Bominaco Castle is already visible.
Continuing on, we pass by another tholos, embellished with two contemporary seats created and placed by students of the Master of Architecture at the Universit\u00e4t der K\u00fcnste in Berlin, and arrive at the village at the very part where its main attractions are located: the church of S.M. Assunta and the Oratory of San Pellegrino, with its medieval frescoes. Let’s take our time for the guided tour. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In less than 15 minutes from the Oratory of St. Peregrine (3) one can climb to the castle (4), from which there is a fantastic view, and from there descend on the opposite side, also visiting the hermitage of St. Michael, carved into the rock (5).<\/p>

We return to the Oratory through the small village,<\/p>

From the Oratory, take the path that cuts through the mountain descending into the valley. We come out next to the cemetery from where, we can either descend into the village directly following the road, of very little traffic, or, having crossed the road, take a path that allows us a further stretch in the woods, passing another beautiful Tholos, before rejoining the road just outside the village.<\/p>

For those who prefer a longer route, arrived at the path (2) take downhill towards Tussio, a lovely little village that you can visit. To return, take the path that, starting from the cemetery area, goes up towards Bominaco. At the first fork keep to the right, then later take the less traveled path that branches off to the left. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
